博士生(Ph.D)
博士研究生语言要求:雅思6.5 (写作6分及以上) 或者托福550 (80机考, 写作23分及以上)以上,特别优秀者英语6级490以上。

工作条件:
材料制备: Energy Technology Laboratory, Electrochemical working station, microwave synthesis, Furnace, Oven, Tube furnace, X-lamp system, Charge-discharge tester, Battery testing system, etc.
材料表征:Equipment for material characterization, including SEM, TEM, Raman, FTIR, AFM, XRD, XPS, PL, TGA, DSC, TMA, universal mechanical tester and hardness tester are available in our department and college for common use.
原位表征: 同步辐射,Advanced Light Source (LBNL), SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (Stanford), 高分辨率,National Center for Electron Microscopy (LBNL)
研究方向:
We are focusing on using In-situ/Ex-situ Multimodal Characterizations (especially in-situ TEM, synchrotron X-ray absorption, electrochemical testing etc.) to solve fundamental and technologically-important problems, especially those related with energy conversion and storage, nano-electronics and bioelectronics. We have been working on diverse research projects, such as nanomaterial synthesis, composites, mechanism study, electronics devices, catalysis, batteries, sensors, etc. Our group develops a versatile and interdisciplinary research, ranging from material syntheses, to structures, properties, and to applications.
a) Battery intercalation for material synthesis, mechanism study and energy applications
b) Failure mechanism study of Li-ion batteries using in-situ/ex-situ characterizations
c) Rational design of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides composites for CO2 reduction

导师简介:Zeng Zhiyuan,男,香港城市大学助理教授,博士生导师。2006年,2008年和2013年分别在中南大学,浙江大学和新加坡南洋理工大学获得材料学的学士,硕士和博士学位。2013-2017在美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室(Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)从事博士后科学研究。2017-2019在美国应用材料公司(Applied Materials, Inc.)硅谷总部从事半导体的等离子体刻蚀工艺研发,历任工程师、高级工程师。2019年加入香港城市大学材料科学与工程学院。主要从事电化学锂离子插层技术、原位液体电镜技术等前沿领域的研究,在二维过渡金属硫化物( Transition Metal Dichalcogenide, TMDC)、锂离子电池、析氢电催化剂等领域的研究中取得一系列成果。在Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Nano Energy等杂志共发表SCI论文55篇(34篇IF>10),SCI引用11456次,单篇引用100次以上论文23篇,15篇入选ESI高被引论文(Web of Science),H因子41,第一作者单篇SCI最高他引1201次。曾任美国电化学协会旧金山分会秘书长(2014-2015),2018年被科睿唯安(Clarivate Analytics)评为“2018高被引科学家”。
